One Response to “Bottle Cap Valhalla: The Bottle Cap Inn”
What a great tribute to the Bottle Cap Inn! As a young boy in the late ’60s, I spent much of my summers hanging out in the Inn, helping out in the kitchen with the preparations for the evening diners and just doing general cleaning. My great uncle and aunt had bought the Inn from the Wiser’s. I remember banging out some of my own original tunes on the old upright piano. By the time I saw the Inn, most of the bottle cap covered tables and chairs had been replaced. I had been told that the bottle caps were not very practical because clothes would get caught on their many edges. Thanks for the walk down memory lane!
