Her home is an older house on the edge of an upscale suburban subdivision. It's prime property. On one side is the lake, on the other woods. The work ranges from simple, folky looking busts like this one, to walls and mounds of little human figures. Besides the concrete and stone figures that populate

her property, Nohl has built extensive wood fencing with slats in the shape of human profiles. The wooden trim around her windows, above her garage and elsewhere on the house feature forms of people and fish as well as abstract shapes. She also has built some large twig sculptures.
